Empowering Your Team With Tailored Access

User roles and access permissions are tailored to give each user access only to the tools they need to perform their day-to-day content management tasks, like updating pages, publishing blogs, and managing events. This focused approach allows your team to handle routine updates efficiently while maintaining independence and reducing delays. It also minimizes the risk of errors or vulnerabilities that could affect critical site functions.

Unauthorized Modifications

Unauthorized changes to sensitive areas of your site, such as design settings, backend configurations, or custom code can compromise design integrity, disrupt performance and void repair or troubleshooting guarantees. Modifications listed below are considered “unauthorized” and are therefore exempt from coverage under our service plans unless performed by a New Urban Media team member:

• Modifying WordPress General Settings, Theme Customizer settings, or any other global configuration options that affect site-wide appearance and functionality.
• Modifying core website functionality or features
• Custom Code: Adding or modifying tracking codes (like Google Analytics), JavaScript, iFrames, or any programming beyond basic HTML formatting
• Creating new pages or altering the layout of pages or templates
• Building or altering forms or form settings.
• Using page builders, form builders, or other advanced visual builders.
• Installing, removing, updating or editing themes or plugins.
• Modifying database configurations, user roles, or security settings.
• Making changes to hosting, DNS, or SSL certificate settings.
• Accessing or modifying core system files or the site's root directory.
• Making changes to server configurations or .htaccess files.
• Modifying or implementing custom API integrations.
• Installing or modifying third-party security plugins or firewalls
• Making changes to site caching configurations or performance optimization settings

Any repairs administered due to edits, modifications, or damages by backend users will be billed at a standard hourly rate and will not qualify for reduced rates or special pricing normally provided by our Care Plans.
