Our Care Plans provide comprehensive coverage, but it's important to understand the specific limitations that apply to different aspects of our service. These limitations help us maintain high-quality service delivery while keeping costs predictable for our clients. Below are the key coverage limitations you should be aware of:
Access Restrictions: To ensure guaranteed coverage for troubleshooting and repairs, access to sensitive areas of the backend must be limited exclusively to our authorized team. If access to these areas is granted to anyone outside of our team, coverage for repairs may be voided, and additional costs may apply.
Software Replacement: Replacing software is not covered under any of our plans.
For security and operational reasons, access to sensitive areas is restricted. These areas include, but are not limited to, installing or removing software, implementing custom code, editing theme or plugin files and settings, or server-level access. Such actions can significantly disrupt site functionality, introduce vulnerabilities, and compromise the overall stability of your website. Any unauthorized modifications to these areas will void repair and troubleshooting coverage under our maintenance plans and may result in termination of the service agreement. Some plans cover support for a specific number of content managers. The number of users covered varies by plan.
If access to page builders or similar tools is granted, please note that any adjustments required for mobile responsiveness, SEO functionality, or layout issues resulting from their use will no longer be covered under our plans. These tools are inherently complex and dynamic, often introducing unintended changes across the site. By choosing to use these tools, clients assume full responsibility for their usage and any resulting impacts on design integrity or site performance.
Additionally, technical support for page builders, form builders, or other advanced editing tools is not included in our service plans. The highly customizable nature of these tools, combined with the countless possible configurations and interactions, makes troubleshooting uniquely challenging and time-intensive. Addressing issues related to these tools would require specialized expertise beyond the scope of our standard service offerings.
Basic content updates, like changing text and images within existing page layouts, are covered by your service plan. However, if an update requires modifications to the design or structure of a page, our team may recommend the expertise of a designer or developer to ensure design integrity, consistency, and proper re-optimization for modern browsers and mobile devices. Small projects like these fall outside the scope of our care plans, but are available for those who want to ensure accessibility and design integrity, which ultimately extends the lifespan of their website.
Publishing new content, such as adding items to a blog, e-commerce system, team directory, or any other CMS database, is included in this plan but is limited to five entries per month. For additional content publishing beyond this limit, additional fees may apply to cover the extra time and resources required. This limit helps us ensure consistent quality and timely updates while keeping maintenance costs predictable.
